Closest to Life - MushiShi

I really like "Mushishi"/"Mushi shi". It's a very calm series, very pretty. It always relaxes me But I never intended to draw a full fanart of it. Made the outlines for Ginko a while ago: [link] and then I tried out `Dianae's water tutorial ( [link] ) on those mushi over there. Wanted to make them all "watery" Then, it was all forgotten.

Now... after completely forgetting about the file, I got Corel Painter 10 and didn't know what to test it with. So I took poor ol' Ginko here. Dunno how long it took to make; have been working on and off it for some time, always testing stuff. And I also turned the guy into a complete "pretty boy", cause his anime-ish face was goddamn scary after being colored in this style (changed the face)... I'm proud of how it turned out, but lack the patience to play around on it more.
